Our Services
At Oak Osteopathy, we are here to help get to the bottom of your aches, pains, strains and everything in between.
We use hands-on assessment and treatment techniques to diagnose and advise you of the cause of your problem, then to assist in your recovery back to optimal health.
As waiting-lists for NHS care grow longer, it is becoming increasingly important to be as proactive about your health as ever. Osteopaths are a great option whilst waiting for further intervention, or in some cases, to avoid or delay further intervention.
You don't need a GP referral, you can book a consultation with us directly. We are healthcare professionals trained to screen you to ensure you are in the right place and will refer you elsewhere if you are not a candidate for our services.

What do Osteopaths do?
Osteopaths are healthcare professionals who hold a Masters of Osteopathy and are governed by the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC). They focus on diagnosing, treating, and preventing a range of health issues through a holistic approach. They use hands-on techniques to manipulate the muscles, joints, and tissues, aiming to improve overall health and promote the body's natural ability heal itself.

Many osteopaths also provide biomechanical assessments, comprehensive rehabilitation and exercise plans as part of your tailored treatment plan.
Osteopaths often treat conditions such as back pain, headaches, and sports injuries, while also addressing lifestyle factors to enhance well-being. Their goal is to ensure that the body functions effectively as whole.

It is also not uncommon for patients with resolved aches and pains to receive osteopathic treatment as part of a general health and wellbeing routine - providing the perfect 'me-time' that is crucial in all of our fast-paced lives.
